Praise & Worship Songs

The aim of this website is to provide resources for worship teams. We couldn't exactly skip making some praise and worship songs available.

As you can see, the chord charts and lyric sheets are available.

Worship Songs

Generally, these songs are slower-paced, more intimate and encourage a heart response. They may include songs that are prayerful as well as expressing love for God.

In Jesus' Name: This song of worship is a reminder of what Jesus has done for us on the cross. As the lyrics go, "All my sin and all my shame, washed away, washed away." What we have in Jesus' name is nothing short of amazing.

Amazing: Amazing is an expression of worship to the Lord Jesus Christ. Words fail to describe the kind of Person that He is and the worship that He inspires. This is my feeble attempt to say that He is amazing, astounding, my everything. Thirteen year-old Erin does a beautiful job as the lead vocalist.

Spirit of God: This song is as much a prayer as it is worship. For those of us who sincerely desire to worship in spirit and in truth, Spirit of God expresses our desire for the Holy Spirit's help. The vocalist is my daughter, Mandah, who was sixteen when this track was recorded.

You Are My Life: For us, Jesus is not just an added extra, someone to turn to when we want something. When He went to the Cross, He gave His all. He requires the same from us. Jesus is the centre around which our lives revolve.

Sing Your Praise: This song of worship reminds us that Jesus is with us throughout the good times and the bad. Whatever we may face, His constant presence in our lives encourages us to lean on Him, trust in Him, and should stir our hearts to sing His praise.

Jesus Precious Jesus: The most beautiful name of all is the name of Jesus. To some, the name of Jesus means healing. To others, it's like a river of love bringing strength and refreshing. To still others, it's a light in the dark.

Hero Of The Ages: A recurring theme of TV shows and movies is the need for a hero or super hero, someone everyone can look up to. This song of worship focuses on Christ as the ultimate Hero who sacrificed His own life by suffering the most cruel death simply to reconcile us to the Father.

Hail The Lamb of God: This is an anthem of worship inspiring us to reflect on the awesome greatness of Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, who died on the cross to take away the sins of the entire world and bring the mercy and grace of God to humanity.

Praise Songs

These songs are more uptempo and contain themes of praise, rejoicing and thanksgiving.

I'm a New Creation: In 2 Corinthians 5:17 we are told, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away, all things have become new." What power-filled words they are! This song takes up that theme of who we are in Christ as new creations.

Take Us Deeper: In the heart of every Christian there is something that cries out for something more, a greater experience of God. Take Us Deeper is not only a song of praise and rejoicing, but a prayer that God would grant us that deeper experience of Him. This up-tempo praise song from Aussie Worship is an opportunity to rejoice in the Lord, and worship leader Alli Llewellyn does a great job of expressing the joy of knowing Jesus.

MIghty Is My God: Sometimes we need to remind ourselves that our God is all-powerful. His strength is unlimited, and although we may face many impossibilities in life, nothing is impossible for Him. He is the One who enables us to walk in the power of the Spirit and reflect the love of God to the world.

You're My Everything: It's such a simple truth, but it's also so easily missed. We can be surrounded by so many good things, with so much to distract us, that we forget that Christ is our everything, our all-sufficiency, and the one on whom we can rely.

Trusting In Your Love: When we begin to think of the multitude of blessings that God has poured out on us, we see that, in Christ, we have redemption, salvation, healing, refuge, and so much more. How is it possible not to trust in His love?
